1. BRAIN MODELING FOR MEDICOS

NEUROGATI – Brain Modeling for Medicos is a 7-day online workshop on Computational Neuroscience, specifically designed for medicos. The program explores the journey from neurons to disease models and examines how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) can be used to understand, predict, and one day treat diseases.

The sessions are conducted by Prof. V. Srinivasa Chakravarthy and Research Scholars from IIT Madras, providing participants with an introduction to brain modeling, computational neuroscience, neural networks, learning systems, and disease modeling.

2. SCHOOL OF INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP, IIT MADRAS - Empowering next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs

The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIE) at IIT Madras is leading its transformation into India’s foremost entrepreneurial institution. The School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship provides the academic foundation to IITM’s ‘ I&E Stack’ and trains the upcoming generation of start up founders who produces distinctive solutions by addressing some of the most pressing industrial and societal challenges.

SIE provides an academic footprint to IITM’s extensive startup ecosystem. Through regular and ‘professor of practice’ faculty, it aims to provide structured entrepreneurship education to startup founders and corporates. Their flagship programme include the maker space CFI, pre-incubator Nirmaan, Entrepreneurship cell(Ecell), MS in Entrepreneurship, UG & PG FIR and EIR programmes along with seed funding and mentorship.

NIRMAAN, the pre-incubator at IIT Madras, plays a key role in supporting students, researchers, and alumni who are taking their first steps into entrepreneurship. It helps turn early ideas and prototypesinto real startup opportunities by offering mentorship, seed funding and prototyping.
