
Aalto University
Aalto University was formed in 2010 through a merger of three leading Finnish universities representing the fields of science and technology, design and art, and business and economics. The school was named after the Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto, who designed many of the university’s buildings on the Otaniemi campus.
Aalto University’s ranking 2023 QS World University Ranking, is first among Finnish universities and 109th in the overall worldwide ranking. At Aalto Scientific research and artistic activities are carried out at six schools and their departments and units.

Academic Experience
At Aalto University, all lectures are conducted by esteemed faculty members or leading professionals in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Students are supported throughout their learning journey by a dedicated Program Coordinator, ensuring a smooth academic and cultural experience. The two-week program introduces participants to core AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Reinforcement Learning, and the Applications and Ethics of AI. The course also includes interactive workshops, project-based learning, and discussions on the future of work in the age of AI. In addition to lectures, students participate in guided project sessions, presentation skill workshops, and cultural learning modules.
Cultural and Campus Immersion
The program begins with a welcome event and an Aalto campus tour, followed by a walking tour of Helsinki and sessions on Finnish language and culture. Students explore the vibrant Finnish way of life through experiential learning, gaining insights into both academia and daily life in Finland. The course culminates with final project presentations and reflective discussions, encouraging students to integrate their academic learning with real-world perspectives.
